What a wonderful Christmas 2018

This started with the magnificent pleasure of welcoming so many people to join us for the Christmas Community Craft Fayre, both stall holders and shoppers.  I was lovely to also be able to share refreshments and lunch with many people.  This event was never about the fund raising, but is was helpful to raise about £600 towards the cost of the two defib machines.

We estimate that around 500 children form the local schools were able to join us for our Schools Christmas assemblies and on the same day the Toddlers Christmas partly welcomed about 20 families to celebrate Christmas, with a special visitor of their own!  Thank you to everybody to supported both of these events; they were wonderful.

It is always a pleasure to have the Boxted Methodist Silver Band join us for our annual Family Carol Service and it was lovely to see the Church full for this event which Rev Paul Howes kindly led for us.  Our Christmas services concluded with the Family Service on Christmas morning and we were pleased to be joined by a number of friends, old and new, to celebrate the excitement of Jesus birth.

We wish everybody very happy Christmas and a peaceful new year.  May God bless you as we look forward to a new year with excitement and expectation.
